These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by AC Mobile Tyre Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to any person or business ("you", "the customer") who requests a mobile tyre fitting, puncture repair, wheel balancing or locking wheel nut removal service. By calling, texting, emailing or otherwise engaging our service you agree to these Terms.
1. Our service
We provide mobile tyre services at the customer's chosen location across Central, North and East London (subject to access and safety). Services include emergency tyre fitting, puncture repair, wheel balancing and locking wheel nut removal. We reserve the right to refuse or stop a job where the location is unsafe, the vehicle is unroadworthy beyond the work requested, or the legal owner cannot be verified.
2. Bookings and quotes
Quotes given on the phone, by text or by email are based on the information you provide (tyre size, vehicle, location). If on arrival the actual job differs materially - wrong tyre size, additional damage, seized wheel nuts, run-flat sidewall damage - we will give you a revised quote before continuing. You may decline and only the callout fee will apply.
3. Pricing and payment
- All prices quoted include VAT, callout, valve, balance and tyre disposal unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due on completion of work. We accept all major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and contactless.
- Account-billed work (fleet, dealership, chauffeur firms) is invoiced on agreed terms. Late payment carries interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Out-of-hours premiums (where applicable) are disclosed before dispatch.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel a non-emergency booking up to 30 minutes before the agreed arrival time at no charge. Cancellations after the technician has been dispatched are charged at the callout rate. Emergency callouts cancelled while the technician is on route are charged at 50% of the agreed quote.
5. Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on all fitments and puncture repairs from the date of service. The warranty covers faults caused by our installation but does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent road incidents, kerbing or potholes.
- Tyre defects covered by the manufacturer warranty (we will assist with the claim).
- Wear and tear, under-inflation, misalignment or mechanical issues unrelated to the fitment.
6. Tyre choice and suitability
Where possible we recommend tyres matched to your vehicle's handbook (load index, speed rating, run-flat or non-run-flat). If you instruct us to fit a tyre against our recommendation we will note this on the invoice and our liability for any resulting issue is limited.
7. Access, parking and safety
You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the vehicle and that the location is legally accessible (no live carriageway without proper protection, no third-party land without permission). We may decline work where conditions present an unacceptable safety risk.
8. Liability
We carry £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of the work carried out plus any direct loss covered by our insurance, except for liability that cannot be limited by law (death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory rights). We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to alloys, hubs, brake components or suspension.
- Consequential losses (lost earnings, missed appointments, hire-vehicle costs) unless agreed in writing in advance.
- Damage resulting from the customer driving on a tyre we have advised against using.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Tyre repair standards
We carry out puncture repairs in line with British Standard BS AU 159. Tyres outside the minor repair area, with sidewall damage, run on flat or showing internal damage cannot be safely repaired and will be quoted for replacement.
10. Complaints
Please raise any concern with us first by phone or email. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may be entitled to refer it to an Alternative Dispute Resolution provider.
11. Data protection
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, major incidents, civil unrest or government restrictions.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
